  Metro Jackson area residents are invited to join in a national discussion about ways to improve the life outcomes of Black males in the U.S. The forum will open with a screening of Little Brother followed by a discussion about “Breaking Barriers 2: Plotting the Path to Academic Success for Black Males in Mississippi.” Nicole Franklin joins acclaimed author, speaker, and research analyst Dr. Ivory A. Toldson for the event, which is free and open to the public.
  The Metro Jackson forum is sponsored by Jackson Public Schools in collaboration with the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation and the Open Society Foundations.
